Nurture Bio Labs, Inc. ("Nurture," "we," "us," "our") operates the website at nurture.bio. This policy explains what information we collect through that website, why we collect it, who we share it with, and the choices you have.
This policy covers the nurture.bio website only. Tellus, our platform, is provided under a separate agreement and a separate privacy notice; nothing here describes how data is handled inside that product.
Information we collect
Information you give us
If you request beta access through our signup form, apply for a role, or email us, we receive what you choose to submit: typically your name, email address, organisation, and anything you write in a free-text field. Our beta signup form is hosted by Tally, and career enquiries reach us by email.
Information collected automatically
Our hosting provider records standard server logs when a page is requested, including IP address, user agent, referring page, and timestamp. These logs exist for security and reliability and are not used to build profiles of visitors.
Analytics
If, and only if, you consent, we collect aggregated usage data as described below.
We do not ask for, and do not want, health, genetic, or other sensitive personal information through this website. Please do not send it to us in a free-text field.
How we use information
- To respond to enquiries and manage beta access requests.
- To consider applications for open roles.
- To operate, secure, and troubleshoot the website.
- To understand in aggregate how the site is used, so we can improve it.
- To comply with legal obligations.
We do not sell your personal information, and we do not share it for cross-context behavioural advertising. We do not use it for third-party marketing.
Legal bases
If you are in the EU, EEA, or UK, we rely on your consent for analytics cookies; on our legitimate interest in operating and securing the site for server logs; and on steps taken at your request, or our legitimate interest in recruitment, when you contact us or apply for a role.
Cookies and analytics
We use analytics tools, such as Google Analytics, to understand how visitors interact with this site and to improve it. These tools may set cookies or use similar technologies to collect aggregated information about pages viewed, time on site, referring sources, device type, and approximate location. Data is used in aggregate and is not used to identify individual visitors.
Analytics load only with your consent. On your first visit, a banner asks whether to accept or decline, and we do not load Google Analytics unless you accept. Your choice is stored in your browser. You can change your mind at any time using the control below, or by using your browser's tracking-protection settings.
Who we share information with
We share information only with service providers who process it on our behalf, under contract and only for the purposes above:
- Tally hosts our beta access form and stores the responses.
- Vercel hosts this website and generates the server logs described above.
- Google Analytics measures aggregate usage, and only where you have consented.
We may also disclose information where we are legally required to, or to establish or defend legal claims. If our business is acquired or merged, information may transfer as part of that transaction; we will say so on this page if it happens.
International transfers
We are based in the United States and our service providers may process information in other countries, including the United States. Where information is transferred out of the EEA or UK, we rely on appropriate safeguards such as the European Commission's standard contractual clauses.
How long we keep information
We keep enquiries and beta access requests for as long as needed to respond and to manage the beta programme, and applications for as long as needed to run the recruitment process and for a reasonable period afterwards. Server logs and analytics data are retained on a rolling short-term basis. We delete or anonymise information when it is no longer needed.
Security
We use reasonable technical and organisational measures to protect the information we hold. No website or transmission method is completely secure, and we cannot guarantee absolute security.
Your rights
Depending on where you live, including under the GDPR in the EU/EEA and UK and under state privacy laws in the United States, you may have the right to access, correct, delete, or export the information we hold about you; to object to or restrict certain uses; to withdraw consent at any time; and not to be discriminated against for exercising these rights.
To make a request, email hello@nurture.bio. We may need to verify your identity before acting. If you are in the EU/EEA or UK, you also have the right to complain to your local data protection authority.
Children's privacy
This site is not directed to children under 16, and we do not knowingly collect information from them. If you believe a child has provided us information, contact us and we will delete it.
Changes to this policy
This policy will be updated as Nurture evolves. Material changes will be reflected by updating the date at the top of this page.
